Cursos IE
Se caracterizan por dedicar medio tiempo para el aprendizaje gramatical y medio tiempo para practicar en escenarios reales como: restaurantes, hoteles, mercados, tiendas o centros comerciales.
Los Cursos IE son considerados los más prácticos
y fáciles de entender a la hora del aprendizaje ya que
sus creadores, ecuatorianos, con gran trayectoria en la enseñanza
del español a extranjeros lo diseñaron muy claros
y facil de asimilarlos.
Los Cursos IE actualmente son aplicados varios países
de South America dado que el léxico empleado y el vocabularios
de uso es standard y de aplicación en toda South America.
IE Courses
1. Intensive Courses (20hrs / 40hrs / 60hrs)
These are short courses designed for the tourist who is learning
Spanish for travelling purposes.
-They are suitable for those who have no, or very little, previous
knowledge of Spanish.
-These courses are easy to comprehend and impart sufficient
knowledge for tourists to get about successfully in most Spanish
speaking environments.
-The textbooks used are "Curso intensivo de Español" which
contain a study program specifically designed for 20, 40 and
60 tuition hours.

2. Regular Courses (40hrs - 120hrs)
These courses allow a student to learn basic grammatical structures
for conversation, describe actions, narrate happenings; express
opinions and preferences and establish discussions. A Regular
Course will permit a student to reach an excellent level of communication
with Spanish speakers in every situation where the languange
is required.
-These courses are directed at those who want to learn the language
in an orderly and progressive manner.
-They are suitable for people with no previous Spanish knowledge
as well as those who wish to improve it.
-There are three levels (Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced),
each of which involve 40hrs of tuition.
-A complete regular course will last for six weeks, at 4 hours
each week day (120 tuition hours in total).
-However, it is possible to join a Regular course at any level,
i.e. taking the Intermediate, then the Advanced course will be
80hrs of tuition in total.

3. Courses of Perfection (60hrs)
The Perfeccionamiento Courses are aimed at those who wish to
learn the language combined with an in-depth understanding of
its origins and greater grammatical structure.
-These courses have a set program, timetable and duration.
-They last for four hours a day for three weeks, 60 tuition
hours in total.
-Teachers in charge of these courses are specially certified
to teach them.
-The minimum age for participation is sixteen.
-When starting this course all students undergo an initial
levelling period of one week. This time is necessary to make
sure that the student has developed the three basic levels
of Regular courses for continuing with the program. Once placed,
students are expected to apply the four basic learning skills,
i.e. listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
