José Aguirre, graduated from the Central University of Ecuador
in 1989 with a degree in Castilian Language and Literature
and received a doctorate in Educational Investigation
in 1996.
José has been teaching Spanish to foreign students since 1991
and has worked in a variety of Spanish speaking countries
including Perú, Chile, and Bolivia. He has also worked in
Europe, England and Spain using different methods and styles
of teaching.
Every month, José leads a professional development session
with the teachers of the school to ensure the highest standards
of education are maintained at the school. José is
also the co-author of a variety of reference books for teaching
and learning Spanish as a foreign Language. These include:

The Sistema
IE.- System of teaching and learning Spanish as a foreign
language consists of fourteen different textbooks written
in standard lexic communication. The Sistema IE is used for
several Spanish Schools in Ecuador and also in Cusco-Perú.
