At Cristóbal Colón Spanish Language School we only teach one-to-one as we think students improve much faster with One-to-One focused study although group study is available for pre-existing groups upon prior arrangement.

 

TEACHING METHODOLOGY ISED IN THE SCHOOL

- 25% of grammar teaching - 25% Examples and Excersices - 50% Conversation and pronunciation

 

Classes are usually given in the morning from 9:00 until 13:00, and in the afternoon from 13:30 to 17:30. However, we can always tailor the times, structure and location of classes to best suit your needs.

 

Every day the teachers will begin their class by presenting a brief outline of the day`s lesson. In the first two hours, students receive grammar lessons, while in the final two hours they practice conversation and pronunciation, accompanied by lectures and written exercises according to his/her level of Spanish.

 

SPANISH COURSES
INTENSIVE COURSES	For traveling purposes	From 1, 2 or 3 weeks course.
REGULAR COURSES	Learn Spanish in a progressive manner	From 3 or 4 weeks course.
PERFECTION COURSES	For proficiency in Spanish	2 weeks course.

NOTE

Newcomers to the school will take an informal test to determine their current level of Spanish. Don´t worry, you can´t fail! The test helps us to determine your current knowledge of Spanish so that classes can be tailored specifically to your level right from day 1.

 

To ensure a high standard of learning, it is recommeded that students take between two and four hours of classes per day, including weekends.

All classes take place in a relaxed atmosphere with a coffee break after two hours of lessons.

During the break students can relax and mingle with other teachers and students.
